I caught this rainbow while leaving the church a couple weeks ago. It only lasted a few minutes but was a good reminder how God is faithful!! (Genesis 9:13-16)I hope that you are enjoying hiding God's Word as much as I am. If you've gotten behind or maybe haven't started yet, it's never too late!
The verse for this week comes out of Exodus chapter 34 and focuses on God's character. When Moses went up on Mt. Sinai to receive the 2nd copy of the 10 commandments (remember he broke the first), the Lord come down in a cloud and stood with him and (vs 5) He proclaimed His name as The LORD to Moses. Then verse 6 says:
Exodus 34:6
And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, "The LORD, the LORD, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.
There are so many promises in this one verse. His grace and compassion is infinite. His patience is immense. His love and faithfulness to us is immeasurable. God keeps His word. We can find rest in that!
