Well, our car was a little slow. It did cross the finish line and I think the best place we got in the 8 times we raced was 3rd. We usually hovered around 6th or 7th out of 8 racers. But that's OK. We still had fun. And there's always next year!

AWANA Grand Prix
Today marked David's first AWANA Grand Prix Pinewood Derby. Him and Daddy designed and painted their car. David did a lot of the paint work, while Daniel filled in a few details David wanted such as a lightning bolt and flames. We were lucky #27 - the day of David's birthday.
