Fresh, tender shoots begin to emerge the first signs of spring.  Growth taking place.  New life emerging and strengthening as time begins to move.  But turn back the clock, and remember the pruning.  The cutting to encourage.  The pruning necessary to strengthen.  To grow.  As it is with life.  And God is there for both.
