Are you a writer?

Yeah... me neither.  I want to be.  I have lofty dreams of publication.  But me... a writer?  Writers have agents and publishers.  The have an actual book with pages and their name on the cover.  They make commission and do signing tours and speaking engagements and interviews.  I'm no writer.  Right?

I have notebook after notebook stuffed in drawers; a blog where I share stories and life.  My Mother has papers still tucked away from elementary school projects; poems, stories with A's using words way beyond elementary vocabulary.  Even a fictional book with chapter headings I started in third grade.  All that doesn't count.... Or does it?

If you had asked me three months ago if I was a writer, I'd have sheepishly said, "Well, I write..., but I'm not a writer."

And then I found Jeff Goins.  And my view has been forever changed.

As I began to stalk... I mean, read Jeff's blog and tweets on writing, I was smitten.  First of all, he's brilliant.  He can weave a tapestry of words that demands attention from the reader.  He has endorsements from some of the best writers and bloggers in the business.  He has a book that is growing in popularity by leaps and bounds.

Yet somehow, he's different.  He is raw with his struggles of the written word.  He admits his fears and his reservations in pursuing this craft.  He is honest with the difficulty of sitting down and staring at a blinking cursor.  But he still writes.  He overcomes to put pen to paper, because he believes his art has purpose.  And more than that, he believes yours does too.  He has made it his mission to take the passion of creativity and to do something with it.  To not just hold onto it, but to share it with the world.

Eight weeks ago, he launched his first online writing course, entitled Tribe Writers.  I was honored and privileged to get in the door for this first class.  And can I tell you?  I haven't regretted it one bit!

I am a writer.  I have a voice.  My words can make an impact.  And people need to hear them.  And people need to hear yours too.

I recommend Tribe Writers to every 'wanna-be writer and blogger' who dares to dream.  A dream for their stories to be heard.  A dream to make a difference.  A dream to do their part to change the world.

You will not be disappointed!

Please click on the above picture and check out his course.  And if you have any questions or any reservations, I would love to talk with you.  You can leave a comment below or you can send me an e-mail at lusk_becky@yahoo.com

Open enrollment ends December 17th, so don't delay!

You are a writer!  And you are awesome!  It's time to embrace that, and change the world!

PS - You can read more endorsements from myself and other fellow students here.  Just scroll down.

*Note: I am an affiliate with Tribe Writers, which means I will receive a commission at no cost to you if you sign up for this course through the above link.  But my opinions and views on this course are my own.  I would never endorse or support anything I don't believe in.  And Jeff and this course... I believe in.
