I had coveted for awhile.  But sometimes Self is more louder than any outside voice.  "You're too old for that."  "You can't pull that off."  "That is just a passing phase."  "That is for the cooler, more hipper Mom's out there."

And then there was the outside source (my husband) who said:  "Feather's are for birds."

But today....today I took the plunge.  Today I went for it. With no regrets.
