A Day Out with Thomas

Warning: Lots of images to follow!

Saturday we headed to Connersville IN to spend a Day Out with Thomas. We began our day with lunch at Steak N' Shake.

Then it was time for Thomas! Here he is heading around the bend. David was so excited to see him! He waved real big, and kept saying Hi Thomas!! Hi Buddy!!!

Then it was time for a ride. We sat in the car directly behind Thomas. Annie to be exact.

Daddy and Madelyn enjoying their ride.

Thomas sure is big on that track! David was surprised that the "real" Thomas is that big.

Of course we had to thank Sir Topham Hatt for his faithful dedication for running such a smooth railway.

The kiddos also enjoyed a ride in the barrel train.

We ended the day at the petting zoo. Madelyn took a shining to the donkey and LOVED riding the horses. That was exclaimed as the favorite part to her day.

Despite the heat in the 90's and the ridiculous humidity, we had such a good time! We were able to duck into the station to cool off on occasion and had a relaxing leisurely day. Couldn't ask for more!
