Molly Jean Lusk made her appearance on Monday March 1st, 2010 at 6:08am. She weighed 7 pounds 15 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. She was a day earlier than we expected. We had her scheduled for 3/2/10, but I went into labor Sunday evening. No one's going to tell her when or how to arrive! :)
Daddy is so proud of his pretty little girl. She is such a good baby.
And the kids could not be more proud or more in love. They are really good with her. When they saw her for the first time, it was just amazing to watch. Madelyn was quiet, but watched very intently and took everything in. David was so inquisitive. They got to see her get her first bath and David asked so many questions. About her umbilical cord and how she ate in Mommy's belly. He asked about why she cried and the noises she made. After a sneeze, he quipped "She's getting germs everywher!" because she did not cover her mouth. It was really sweet. I love my new family. It just somehow seems complete now. I praise God for this little girl that was such a surprise and so unexpected to our family. He knew we wanted and needed her, long before we ever did. He is so sovereign!!
